| The small community of Shell Beach sits around the area of Pismo Beach, just along the coast alongside HWY 101. While very small, Shell Beach and Silver Shoals are a sight not to be missed. From the top of the bluff, spectacular 180 degree unspoiled views of the Pacific, Point Conception and Avila Bay can be seen. Walk down the cliff trail (or use the steps at nearby Cliffs Resort) to access the secluded Shell Beach, where swimming, sunbathing and surfing are all enjoyed. |

Exit HWY 101 at Spyglass Drive. Turn right on Shell Beach Road, then left at Silver Shoals Drive. Find parking along the street. |
